Parking at our new the Lister hospital (Chelsea Bridge Road)

Hoping someone can help me. My mother has an appointment at the Lister tomorrow afternoon. We don't live in London, and my parents can't walk very far (my dad will be with us too), both elderly and wary of covid. So train is out of the question. Anything more than a standard 10min walk is also no good - (if Google maps says 10mins, it will take us 20!). Can anyone tell me whether we can simply park at the hospital? I can't see a carpark there when I zoom in on Google maps, but something on a bupa site suggested there might be parking (can't see anything on the hospital's own website though). There doesn't seem to be any street parking in close range. But I think there is a carpark just across the bridge. (if so, are we likely to find a space or am I dreaming?).

It's likely to be a stressful trip all round so if I can get the parking issue sorted/planned, that would really help.
Thanks!

Hi yes there is a car park in Battersea park across the bridge and you could get a cab across the bridge to the hospital. I’ve done that before. Good luck

You can park in battersea park on the chelsea bridge side, it’s on the cheap side for london, then walk over the bridge, I’ve never seen it that busy on a weekday. Takes me about 5 minutes ish to walk from there- I recently had appointments there and I walked from
home but via battersea park.

Where are you driving from, as pp suggests either Battersea Park or ncp Victorian Station then get a cab

Shit map but it’s that shaded bit of pink at the very front that you want to aim for. Even if there are no spaces there, which I think would be highly unlikely outside of weekends, you can park in the other 2 car parks and get a taxi or bus across the river if it’s too far.

Thanks everyone. And esp @FlounderingFruitcake for the map. I feel reassured that there should be some spaces - and at least I now have backup plans if not!

Much appreciated all, thank you. Now I can just concentrate on hoping the appt goes well now!

If you do park in the Battersea car park you can get a bus across the bridge to (almost) outside the Lister

Parkopedia is helpful for London parking. You can filter to street parking or look for car parks. It tells you the cost for however long you need and any limits.
