Just that really. England - Wales. Couldn't see a thread. Not super exciting yet...

Oh look, obscenely highly paid sportsmen do their job !

Colour me surprised 👀

Yea they are paid very well for playing in the premiership, there's no denying that.
But there is a world of difference between the men in the England team now and those that were, for example, in the team for Euro 96, WC 98 etc.
Many players these days are using their fame and influence for good. Look at Marcus Rasford and his absolute commitment to getting the government to provide funded school meals.
Harry Kane sponsors the shirts for his local league 2 team supporting a local children's hospice, Mind and a charity supporting veterans.
Others have done good things too, because they know they are lucky and they are in a position to help make a difference.
The England team right now are known for their social conscience and pretty boring domestic lives. A world away from Posh and Becks, WAGS, and Wayne Romney's sex worker encounters and drink driving bans.
I'm not patriotic at all, but I am proud of our England team.

Watching it. Love football but most of the time I find England so boring. Second half has been better but I can’t see us getting very far and wouldn’t be surprised if we lost to Senegal in the last 16.
I think they need a change from Southgate!!

Surprised there's only 4 minutes of extra time

Well, that was fun. Thanks for the company...😊🥳

Yep, I agree with this - they all seem like good lads off the pitch Smile
