Birthday present idea help please….

Ds (7) has a birthday party to attend to this weekend. The birthday boy will either be 7 or 8. Not 100% sure.

I am stumped at what to get him. Sent Ds in today with a challenge of finding out what J likes. Didn’t really help me at all.

Any ideas? Needs to be around £10. Can go a little over budget but not much. Ideally through Amazon please

Lego? Top Trumps?

Lego is a good shout I guess. I’ve been told he likes dinosaurs and I’ve seen a JW set for £13.50.

I did see this.

any good?

Ah thanks. I was worried it would be too cheap. I know I don’t spend a lot on other peoples children, just as I don’t expect them to buy expensive stuff for mine either, but I do try and get them something the child would definitely enjoy within a price budget.

£10 in a card - job done. The kid can pick what they like or put it towards something bigger.

Normally I agree but then I also know with younger kids, the present is the best thing even if it’s crap.

We have this set which is really good:

www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-31058-Dinosaurs-Triceratops-Pterodactyl/dp/B01J41DNWM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=30K8TMCV9J6U8&keywords=lego+dinosaurs&qid=1669742181&sprefix=lego+din%2Caps%2C73&sr=8-3

Bit tricky for DS as he’s not quite 4 and some of the parts are really quite small and fiddly but I think probably perfect for a 7YO.

Oooo thank you. That has potential too
