Does anyone have home insurance with John Lewis?

Their quote is coming out the cheapest but they have some poor online reviews. Is anyone insured with them and how do you find them?

We are looking at both buildings and contents insurance.

Not their home insurance... but I had wedding insurance with them and if I could've given them 10 stars I would've.

Probably a different team though, so hopefully someone else more knowledgable will come along!

I was insured with them for a couple of years, my son had some Bose headphones stolen and they handled the claim really efficiently giving us the option of refund or replacement. Very happy with the way they dealt with it considering DS left them on the seat at the cinema, walked out, realised, went back in to discover them gone.

It was 2021 policy, so recently.

Just remembered we claimed on buildings too, a leaky cistern we didn’t know about caused part of the lounge ceiling to come down and we had a hassle free claim then also, that was 2020.

Thank you. I suppose they’re probably no better or worse than other companies.

I had a big leak in my house and needed to find out the fault and then re plaster, re tile and paint.
It took me a few calls, I had to provide an estimate from a professional but they did pay.
I am still with them.

I'm with them and they are very good. I've had some large ish claims which put the premiums up but that would be the same as any other insurance.

Good to hear, thank you

I've been with them for 2 years but haven't needed to make a claim. <touch wood>
