Anyone been on the Eurostar lately?

Travelling on the 9am train this Saturday, just wondered if anyone knew what the queues were like? I haven't been on the Eurostar since Brexit so don't know if it's changed much!

I did a Eurostar round trip at the start of the month (still half term in some areas). Queues for security and passport control were about 10 minutes in each case. The only minor complaint I had was that it was so busy on our outward journey that there was nowhere to sit in the waiting area at St. Pancras.

I was on it in July and October.
It depends what time of day you go. Friday afternoon the queues are all the way down to Boots and beyond, Saturday Lunchtime - you can pretty much walk right in.

I have used it a few times earlier this year, last time approx 3 months ago so it may have changed BUT St Pancras was hell - huge queues zigzagging up and down main hall, cafes and shops heaving etc. I guess the queue did move relatively quickly but it's certainly taking longer than normal - mainly due to Brexit travel rules I suspect as there are no COVID related restrictions obviously in play. Otherwise, it's normal lovely Eurostar.

Went last Friday lunch. Walked straight through.

Thanks all. We're the first train out on Saturday so may do the 90 minutes to be safe (and stock up on train snacks).

we usually stock up in the M&S next to the Eurostar check-in. but yes, for the early Saturday trains I'd definitely leave enough time.

When you arrive check the sign for which train is being currently boarded. If that's yours, speak to the staff. they will try to get you on it, despite people giving you the Disapproving Stare.

I went last Friday. Long queues, but they moved fairly quickly and were quite well sign-posted. I wouldn’t want to try and leave it till the last minute.
