Instagram and half naked woman...new thing?

I'm pretty new to Instagram
I follow a lot of fashion /lifestyle bloggers
All I see is them stood there on a reel in underwear putting their outfit of the day on.
I don't get it-why not a reel of them with the outfit on
Why do we have to see them with actually getting dressed
Is this the new thing?

I agree. I don’t even know you so what do you think I want to see you in your pants?

Instagram reels are awful

Because it will get them more views/rewatches.

It honestly makes me cringe.
I guess a lot of them are attractive girls so it will deffo get them more views

Attention seeking and wanting validation from strangers is a disease.

There you go then. Its so people can wank and they'll get more views.

I think ultimately it's part trend and part not particularly subtle attempt to get anyone (interesting in the clothing or not) to click on the reel and generate views.

I do think as a general rule it probably works. A lot of people are fascinated by other people's bodies, drawing a comparison, curiosity etc. I'm not sure it will all be seedy men, it isn't like those don't know porn exists and therefore need to see someone robotically doing up a pair of jeans and sliding on an oversized jumper over a matching pants set they've hooked halfway up their waist and dangling a designer bag on their arm at the close.

People will make a living in whatever way they feel they need to I suppose but personally I do hope they move on to something else soon.
