When you make a coffee and have a chat/catch up/ show a bit of interest in colleagues....is that work or should it be done before your official start time?
And does it matter what your role/position is? E.g. my boss clearly considers a little walk round, a chat and/or offering to make the drinks enhances her relationships with staff and is therefore work. Does that apply to other work relationships?
