Have you got the Shark Flexstyle?

If so, can I have your thoughts?

DH has agreed to get me one for Christmas but I’m terrible at doing my hair. I just get pissed off with the effort. So I’m hoping this provides me with all my hair answers.

Is it easy to use? Worth the money?

Thanks Smile

Is it better than the Dyson or just a bit cheaper?
Im going to get DD one for Xmas but if the Dyson is better I would rather go for that

It’s a hard one because I know there are reviews from people who got on great with it, but I was one of the people who found it absolutely useless and returned it. So my personal experience was:

  • the brushes were massive my hair is long and I couldn’t get any lift at the root with them, I couldn’t straighten and kinks near the root and they left my hair frizzy. Also I found they ripped out hair, I don’t get on with the bristle type
  • the curling barrels are made up of lots of flat plates. These caused dents in the curls. If you brush your hair out after styling it removes the dents and gives a bouncy blow dry, but that just didn’t last even with styling products

so it would have been a £300 product to give me a bouncy blow dry that didn’t last. the diffuser attachment and hair dryer part of it I can’t comment on as I already had the Dyson hair dryer. I’ve since got the airwrap and get on really well with it, the shark just wasn’t for me.

Hey! @LifeGivesLemons

So I tried it, and honestly found it useless 😂.
The hair drying function is good, diffuser good, brushes ok but a bit big, would have been fine though as I have long hair.
As for curling though I just couldn’t get them to stay in, and as many reviews said they just fall out straight away. Not worth £300 for a glorified hair dryer so will be sending back.

Still undecided if I’m gonna invest in the Dyson and try that or not x

Thanks @JMPB How disappointing. DH has ordered one because it’s getting so close to Christmas but I think I’m going to tell him to send it back Grin

thanks for coming back to me!
