Has anyone heard it? I’ve just heard it for the first time in radio2. So bizarre, he just sounds like one of them controlling boyfriends who hates their partners having a good night and holds it against them

Not controlling, just letting her know she’s a bore to be around when she’s drunk.

I wouldn't want to be with anyone who acted like that either. Those lyrics also refer to the morning after. People are often not nice when they are drunk.

Not sure it's controlling but it's certainly not a great song from reading the lyrics! Sure we can all get annoyed when someone is drunk and making a tit of themselves but this just made me uncomfortable reading it. I agree with another reply that I hate IT when your drunk would be better than I hate YOU

Well, drunk people are often annoying and difficult to deal with. There's nothing controlling in saying that.

I thought it was bizarre when I heard it the other day. Ordering champagne and taking photos isn't exactly the worst behaviour. If it was I hate having to hold your hair back while you vomit in the gutter he may have a point!

Urghhh that actually made me feel anxious, I know too many guys like that unfortunately. He's driving so is sober and is letching on a really messed up girl, who ok'd this.

Not really relevant but OM makes me the absolute opposite of turned on. He looks like a wizard turned Gordon the Gopher into a human being. I don't care if he loves me when I'm drunk or not.
