Has anyone got capsulitis of the foot? (2nd toe)

I’m in agony, have had insoles from a podiatrist for about a fortnight and i think it’s getting worse… searing, burning pain 😩😩

has anyone any experience of this?

So weird, I have never heard if this before but I'm wondering if it's what I have. My left second toe has been really sore at its base and there's a hard knot/swelling in the ball of my foot under my toe. Did a podiatrist diagnose you?

Yes they did @Thunderchunder - they did a biomechanical evaluation

I must try to get an appointment so. I hope yours gets settled for you soon.

Same @Thunderchunder ! It was £180 for the evaluation and orthotics just fyi!

@Loadofoldshart sorry I know this is an old thread but just wondering if your capsulitis ever resolved? I've been diagnosed, in lots of pain, meant to be going on a walking holiday in a few weeks and feeling very despondent!

Did anyone on this thread get any relief from this? Ive been diagnosed too and in pain and unable to walk. Any remedies or anything that helped?

I’m wondering too. I’ve had it fir six months now and it’s limiting what I can do.
