Has anyone had laser treatment for red skin?

I think I've got rosacea. Since childhood I've always had red, rosy cheeks which I've been incredibly self conscious about. My baseline skin undertone is red, but I go really red seemingly randomly. Hot & cold environments trigger it, stress, alcohol, spicy food etc. I also get blotchy, splodgy rashes across my neck, chest and shoulders. Does anyone else get this?

Anyway, I've done some research and it would seem laser treatment carried out by a dermatologist could be an option. Has anyone had this done? Was it effective? How much did it cost if you don't mind saying?

I have, but not in the uk so not sure am going to be much help. Also can’t really remember how much it cost exactly, think around 300 euros per session. Think mine was quite bad and needed a few sessions - think I had two. Probably need more but is much better than before and I feel I can live with it as it is now. Would do it again I had fine on my cheeks. Always was a bit red and go very red for any reason - out for a walk, if warm etc etc. Sorry can’t remember exact cost though.

Had this done last week for the same reasons (also not in the UK). Cost me equivalent of £300, going back for a review in January before possibly having more.

Will report back.

I've had it done for red thread veins in the Uk but am not sure if it's the same treatment. Effectively the one I have had they blast a laser at the veins which are close to the surface and therefore visible and then they kind of collapse and become invisible. It's working well for me, I've now had 3 x 15 min treatments about 6 to 8 weeks part. One more to go of a course of 4 I bought for £400. I think I may need more but it has definitely reduced the thread veins which seemed to be everywhere but concentrated around my nose and chin.

Yes, I. had 2 or 3 sessions of IPL Intense pulsed light, so not laser, but it worked well. After the sessions it really helped clear the redness. I also tool lymecycline which helped with the bumps. Changed my life. My face was red raw before. Not needed to go back, the sessions I had were about 12 years ago.

Can I ask, are the results permanent? Or temporary?
