I was a teenager of the late 80's early 90's and the only jeans to be seen in were the above (apologies for the spelling?) . The badge was iconic with an 1940's woman quoting' ohh what shall I wear'.
My mum would never buy them fur me unless it was birthday or Christmas treat as too expensive.
What were your jeans of youth?
And apologies again for the spelling , I had loose , tight dark abs light ones and absolutely loved them .

I remember them! Also Gloria Vanderbilt jeans!

Oh yes! Up until a few years ago I would still buy these! They had side zips

Are Falmers jeans still going?

Pepe jeans.

I remember Easy jeans being pretty cool back in the early 90s. (But I wasn’t so maybe they weren’t!).

I had a pair of blue velvet Sarsaparilla trousers. Loved them.

I remember them but never had any. I was about 15 when Nick Kamen sat in a bath to shrink his 501s, making them the only jeans any discerning London teenager would wear. Even though we bought them second hand from Flip.

Yes to getting jeans from Flip! Nick Kamen was possibly the most beautiful man ever.
I thought (as did everyone else) I was chubby. I was a top shop size 14 in the 80s so probably not as chubby as I thought by today’s standards!
My dad was in the denim industry and I remember him bringing home a snow washed denim jacket for me in my early teens. My friends were all jealous.
Those memories have made me smile.
