Moviprep

I know this probably shouldn't be in chat but..

I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled tomorrow and I'm really struggling with the Moviprep, I'm only on the first litre but I feel so sick (like on the edge of throwing up sick).

Does anyone know what happens if I'm sick? Do I just continue as normal? I'm not a sicky person so really didn't think I'd struggle with it.

Thanks!

Best wishes, op ! I'm also having one - I finished the last litre two hours ago and I'm still running to the loo. I was in tears trying to get the last few glasses down , what an awful thing to have to do. I hope your procedure goes well ☺️

@ShippingNews it's more awful than I thought it would be and I actually thought I might cry towards the end!! Good luck for tomorrow 🤞

I'm a bit worried now because a few of you have said it should be clear, it's definitely a lot lighter but not clear and I think I'm pretty much finished. I've followed it all to the letter though.

Good luck both. Also don’t worry if you go to the loo a few more times tomorrow morning either.

It never ceases to amaze me how we have all this technology, space travel, nuclear war etc and no-one's come up with anything less utterly emetic than that stuff. Sending support OP, it's fecking disgusting I know.

@RitaSueandBobtwo thanks so much for saying that as I was just having a mild panic that I'm still going to the toilet!! It's nothing major but I thought it should have finished by now. Thanks for the good wishes, I'm leaving home at 8am 🤞

@Haycorns4Piglet I said the exact same thing to my husband last night, surely there must be a better way than that vile drink!!

@ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner yes I was worried things would still be moving when I was due at the hospital which fortunately they had stopped by the time I left.

Good luck. I think I had to wait 8 or 9 weeks for my results.

Take care
