7 year old pointer, wormed with drontal every 3 months and advocate every month. Is it a worm?

She's v fit and healthy, just under 25kg. No symptoms of anything.

Have you poked it? Is it solid? On first sight it looks like a banana skin.

MrsMorton · 27/11/2022 12:44

It's sort of rubbery. Like cabbage. Defo not bones.

noodles?

HappyHamsters · 27/11/2022 12:46

Chews or toys?

MrsMorton · 27/11/2022 12:48

Not noodles! She has a kong - no other toys yo speak of save an old slipper.

Theunamedcat · 27/11/2022 12:49

Has she got hold of a hide chew from somewhere?

HappyHamsters · 27/11/2022 12:50

Could it be the slipper sole or something she found

GCAcademic · 27/11/2022 12:52

Elastic band?

MrsMorton · 27/11/2022 12:57

I'm reassured you're not all shouting WORM! But also it's none of the things being suggested so I'm still non plussed.

Rawhide chew? My DDog passed some like this 🙄

Fleurdaisy · 27/11/2022 13:01

Not worms — well, not like any I’ve ever seen..
Something he’s eaten as pp have said.

Fleurdaisy · 27/11/2022 13:03

Can you photograph one end on? Might give more clues.

CombatBarbie · 27/11/2022 13:03

If you haven't given her rawhide is it possible the postman/courier may have?

Most of our couriers have dog treats in the vans

sevenbyseven · 27/11/2022 13:05

Looks almost like a watch strap! Doesn't look like a worm.

HappyHamsters · 27/11/2022 13:11

Yes maybe a watch strap or a piece of a belt

In the bin now! There were about half a dozen nuts if various lengths, had little holes in the surface. V odd.

Reassured by you all, thank you. Will keep an eye out but can't think of anything she's had access to which looks like that!

Is it strips of rubber out of the old slipper you mentioned?

MrsMorton · 27/11/2022 14:06

No. Nothing like that on the slipper.
