Pain in left bowel- a&e or doctors on Mon?

I've got pain in my left hand side around my bowel area. I'm not constipated and it's constant. It started yesterday and is getting worse. I'm not hungry and gone off food. And I'm dizzy when I stand.
Has anyone had this? What was it? Should I wait and get a doctors appointment tomorrow or go to a&e?[[[9111

Yes, but what I had ( diverticulitis) might not be what you have. Only a dr can diagnose you.
With your symptoms I’d call 111 for advice. Take your temperature to tell them the result.

Pain in that area can be ovarian if you are female, is there any change you could be pregnant? It could be an ectopic or a ruptured cyst. 111 would be the best option though they will probably tell you to go to A&E because there are so many things it could be

Definitely not pregnant. I had my ovaries out 5 years ago. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like appendicitis but on the left side. Debating a &e

Same as Fleurdaisy mine was diverticulitis. Diagnosed in A&E after scan

Ring 111 for advice. If you’re over 40, it could well be diverticulitis. If so, you’d need to be careful for complications. My husband’s caused a perforated bowel.

I am over 40. And I now feel sick. Dh is out with the dogs ill call 111 when he gets back

Don’t wait, call 111 now. You’ll have a waiting time to get though anyway and then triage to call you back. Your husband and dogs will be back by then.
