In what order would you do the cast?

For me its:

Antonio Banderas
Christian Slater
Brad Pitt
Tom Cruise

Remember this is in their 1994 form, not now.

Christian Slater would clearly be first choice.
Tom Cruise would come low, probably lower than the bloated corpse prop.

1994 me would definitely have put Christian Slater at the top of the list. And almost 30(!!!!) years later he's still there. Followed by Brad, then Antonio. Cruise is at the bottom of the heap.

I have an entirely inexplicable blind spot about Brad Pitt, even young Thelma and Louise Brad. And an entirely understandable blind spot about Tom Cruise - I love his movies but wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Not enough wine in all of Napa for TC.

I read the book just before seeing the film in 94 and was totally wrapped up in the sad gorgeousness of it. I should really do it again. Book and dvd on my Christmas list!
