Found out this week 🙃
Love it
As I have friends and family around the world I love the world clock section. But what's most fascinating for me on here is how here in glasgow it can be pitch black while in London where I have friends it can still be bright and sunny of an evening. This has led to some interesting conversations with people doubting my darkness and my proving it on FaceTime.
Nobody should mock anyone for what they don't know, nobody knows everything and learning is fun imo.
I learned that Frank Lampard and Jamie Redknapp are cousins. Their mothers are sisters.
See that's news to me!
My mind blown was discovering STAN from Eminem. Was Casper in human form in the movie.
And another!
I found out last week that TV viewing figures are actually calculated from a sample of just 5,100 households, it's not how many people are actually watching (I was Googling it as i was sat wondering whether 3 of us in the same house watching im a celeb on 3 different tvs counted as 3 views, turns out it doesn't as they don't know that's what we are watching!).
Some years ago I contacted bbc complaining about them cancelling a show I loved and saying that as it was often aired after 10pm lately (they bloody moved it!) that perhaps people were recording it to watch later and that these figures should be included - turns out they are, but only if watched within 7 days of airing (this was pre catch up days admittedly)
He's Northern Irish which I didn't know until today.
I knew that since krypton factor days as every time we watched it at hers my northern Irish born gran pointed it out
Another fun fact is that Isabella Rossellini came up with Laila Morse's stage name when she was Gary Oldman's girlfriend (it's an anagram of Mia Sorella / my sister in Italian).
I knew about Gary old mman and laila morse being siblings but I didn't know this thank you
