The Idaho student murders

I couldn't see a thread about this. Is anyone following the story about the 4 students stabbed in their sleep two weeks ago? I keep checking the US news daily for updates. They seem to leaning more towards it being targeted. But why all 4 of them, and were the 2 room mates in the downstairs rooms targets too but had their doors locked, or did the killer not know they were there?

I read about this too, it’s a very weird case. I really hope they find out why this happened; those poor kids.

I've read about it and read the threads on websleuths

I'm not getting too invested though....it's small town USA. They will be slow, tight lipped or maybe just plain ineffective

The whole thing is just so odd. It's so sad to see the picture of them hours before smiling happily just enjoying being young and carefree. 😢
