"Surviving" redundancy, any experience and tips?

My company is restructuring, I'm in charge of a small ish team. We're all at risk of redundancy but my role is more likely to "survive" (but not 100%). Does anyone have any tips on getting through this? Morale is obviously very low and I am trying to think of ways to help people through.

Do your best to ensure your team feel heard. Even if the outcome isn't what they want (and remember some people may want to be made redundant, others not). But feeling heard is key.

I was a team member in that situation. The manager handled it well - showed empathy and care for everyone's situation. Sorted my CV with me, gave me interview practice, a reference that went way beyond the basic.

The way the rest of my team handled it wasn't so great - I was one of the first 100% made redundant. The ones left going through the process said dismissive things to me like 'well it's not so bad for you, you don't have kids like us'. Well, no, but I was single with a sole mortgage. Or were over dramatic about their own situation when there was little chance of them going. Was pretty unpleasant.
