Help! My front crown has come out!

The dental crown that is. I look like a hag.

It's the second tooth. I knew it was precarious and the dentist offered me an alternative but I insisted on the crown a so was excited by having a nice tooth after years of a hideous brown one.

It's 18 months old. It was loose once before and dentist re cemented it in. I said I panic if it comes out and dentist said if it does to just fixodent it back in- how do I do that?

I'm sure it's snapped and take the tooth with it.

Can you see the post? If you can you can refix with dental cement - boots sell it.

If the tooth has snapped you need a denture or a bridge. Or an implant.

I had a crown come off a molar, the tooth under the crown snapped and also broke the molar next to it. I had to have the crowned tooth removed.

There isn't a post so that it why it was dodgy. And really it was a temporary fix until I could have the am implant.

I need an implant but he spoke to a dentist friend who said I have thin gums so he said it's not advisable as I'd need a gum graft. My dentist was also at to do the implant but I could sense he wanted the crown to work. He doesn't want to do a bridge as he said he doesn't like damaging the teeth on the side where the bridge attaches to.

Looks like it's a denture which I don't want.
