I’ve written before about my 15 year old Collie, she has a tumour in her mouth and a fortnight ago we decided, with our vets advice, to leave it because of her age and monitor it’s growth and her comfort. It is now the size of a satsuma and, tonight after eating some of her food, there was blood around her bowl. We don’t want her to suffer and, while she sleeps a great deal, she can still patrol the garden and take an interest in things, she also eats two small meals a day. We are trying to make sure that our decision on when to have her pts is determined by her needs and not our perception of how she feels but the blood tonight was new. Are there any vets who can advise us on whether this will cause her unnecessarily suffering?
