Bit miffed by this.
I work in England for an international company that has offices across the UK.

Had an email from HO before the Englanf/Iran game saying if you wanted to log off and watch it then you could.

I'm not English, I'm Welsh. So asked today if I could watch the Wales game and was told no, the edict applies to England only.

The company is American, so I'm guessing they just don't 'get' the UK. But we have offices in Cardiff!!!

Should have put this in AIBU really....

But miffed

I feel the same, but I sold my Welsh
Soul and came to live and work in England some years ago.
I wouldn't expect time off to watch a Wales match in France, so why should I in England?

I think if you work in England that's fair l suppose the key question is what happened in the Cardiff office.
