HMRC have got my estimated income totally wrong

How can I contact them to get this sorted? I rang earlier and was on hold for 56 minutes. Call was answered got asked my name and NI no and was then promptly cut off.

They've got my estimated income as 110k - I wish😂 I moved jobs recently and thought it was just a blip. I am not even on 1/4 of that amount

Is the only way to speak to them to try again (and again) on the phone or would I better writing a letter?

You can do it online on gov.uk. They updated my tax code within a few days when I did it.

I'm on the website but can't see anywhere to do that.

I wasn't able to, when I followed the links etc it told me I had to ring as it couldn't be dealt with online. Unfortunately I had to wait about the same time as OP. It was sorted, but I didn't get cut off

You might just have to try again OP and hope for the best, it's really annoying 😬
