Does anyone know if something like this exists?
I am in the process of preparing DCs' outgrown toys and clothes for a sale, and it's got me thinking I'd quite like to do something similar for myself and the clothes I no longer wear. I also have quite a lot of stuff still packed in the loft that was my late DM's which is all really good quality but not my style.
I know I could do a car boot or jumble sale, but I find selling at those stressful and get fed up with haggling over 10p. I do list odd items on ebay, but I find that very time consuming to list and post them. What I like about both buying and selling at the NCT sales is that the quality of everything has been vetted (bar the very occasional item that slips through the net!), all the stuff is displayed together by size and category (no rummaging through piles on multiple tables), and you can choose to either just drop it off and later collect the unsold stuff or volunteer a few hours for a reduction in commission.
