Cider clothes shop

Has anyone ever bought with this company before? Cider?

It's appeared on my IG feed and lots of items would suit my DD's but I'm always a bit sceptical.

I'd like to get a few pieces but only if they're reliable.

It's another of those Chinese scam companies. Poor quality no returns policy and zero communication.
I haven't used them but my friend did and said the clothes are nothing like the photographs

I bought some clothes from there and some earrings. I really like them all and they were just like the photographs. I got a really nice dress and a jumper I wear all the time. Oh and another jumper that I love too. All seem good quality to me. I'm not very fussy but I think I would recognise shoddy.

With FB ads it's always worth googling reviews. Sometimes they're fine but often they're a serious warning.

I’ve bought loads of cardigans and a couple knitted dresses; I thought the quality was really good.
I found the comment above about returns quite odd; I wanted to return a couple of things because they were a little bit big and Cider told me I could keep the clothes if I accepted store credit instead of cash. I just got more cardigans with the credit and I was delighted!

TinfoilTwat · 25/11/2022 06:49

I've used it. It's okay. H&M quality I'd say - obviously all unlined and not terribly well made, but the knitwear is fine. In fact I'm wearing a nice pair of their socks now!

BastardtheCat · 25/11/2022 07:27

Thanks everyone (I've reported the spam).

What's sizing like?

OP posts:
BodGaoithe · 25/11/2022 19:27

I found it was true to size for the most part, but some pieces were bigger than I was expecting. That might be the cut though; I wanted 50s style tight cardies and I might have mistakenly gone for some GenZ style baggy stuff.

SlippinKimmy · 25/11/2022 19:29

I’ve been cyber stalked by this company for ages! Am actually quite tempted, so encouraging to read they’re not scammers…

UWhatNow · 25/11/2022 19:32

I’ve ordered and they are just as good as any of the other mail order shops - in fact the photos are a good match for what you actually get. Probably cheaply made in China but then everything is these days…

Upwiththisiwillnotput · 25/11/2022 20:49

I've bought stuff for my DD from there, wouldn't say it was the best quality but she likes it. Fit is ok but DD is tiny.

TravellingSpoon · 25/11/2022 20:52

My DD likes it, and the delivery is quite quick.

DD loves the knitwear.
