How often do you get a bill from EDF?

I've always been with Scottish Power and every time I gave meter readings it would generate a bill online. EDF don't seem to do this. I've been with them since August (I moved and they were the provider. I couldn't move away from them). I've had one bill since then and I'm in a huge amount of credit but obviously I don't know how much money I've spent to date. Is this usual for EDF?

Do you have any reason to think that your account is a different type to their standard one? If not won't it be under their normal 2 bills a year

I wouldn't want to say for definite as I'm assuming that the reason for asking is that you dont think it's the same

Ours is 2 bills a year. Prior to getting a smart meter I had to work it out from my meter readings. With the smart meter I can log in and see the credit remaining.

I've been with them years. They used to generate a bill after each meter reading and now only do it twice a year.

If you really want one if you go into the online chat with them they may be able to issue one. They issued me one the first time I didnt get a bill overnight after putting in a reading as I was concerned having previously getting one everytime. I've not asked since though so no idea if they still do it.

Every month. But I’m not on direct debit. I don’t now had a £14k energy bill and my DD was adjusted automatically to more than my salary. I now have a deep mistrust of DD’s.

I think they automatically generate a bill twice a year, but I request one through online chat every time I do a monthly meter reading. They do try to fob you off sometimes so you have to be quite clear you want a new bill!
