Shared custody. How to keep kids' stuff separate?

In a very acrimonious divorce where there's shared custody, what's the best way to keep the kids' stuff separate? If even a pencil gets left accidentally at mine, there are nasty messages and demands for its immediate return.
I don't want to go into the rights and wrongs of it I just want to find a way to make sure it doesn't happen. How do I do it without stressing the kids?

Use a shared parenting App no emails or texts so you can evidence his vile attitude to Cafcass if/when it goes to court.

Practically have a basket for each child at the front door an everything gets out in there and not touched whilst they are with you? Age appropriate truth with DC as to why.

The court part is already done. I screenshot Messenger. A parenting app sounds like more opportunity for controlling behaviour tbh

Baskets would need to be in their rooms because even underwear has to be separate.

How old are the DC?

I would have them stripping as soon as they got in.

No I think the parenting Apps are mainly for communication.

Your poor kids.

We get similar from dh ex. We have everything for dsc at ours. Dsc comes in a set of clothes now and wears that back home. No toys or games etc go between houses.
We always had everything at ours for dsc anyway but occasionally they may have a hairband that they've worn to school the Fri and taken out left on bedside unit.
We got texts saying Where's the hair band.?!! Im talking a hair elastic that's like 30 for £1
So now they remove hair band and put in book bag to wear back the Monday.

We have all clothes, footwear, underwear, books, toys, games consoles, hair bands, hair dryer everything at ours.

There’s no way I’d be making my children strip naked when they arrive at home. I’d be telling their Dad to fuck off and grow up.

Who says its the dad kicking off, not the dm? Mentions no names?
