Do you get tingly lips when about to cry?

I thought this was normal but google says otherwise. When I’m upset/ holding back tears my lips go really tingly. Do you have this too?!

No.

KindergartenKop · 24/11/2022 20:53

Nope

CatsForLife · 24/11/2022 20:55

Yes I do!

Crinklecat · 24/11/2022 20:56

Oh… google says it could be a sign of all sorts. Far too much going on at the moment to overly worry about it but maybe something I’ll follow up in the future. On reflection it’s only been the last few months and I have been under extreme stress. Would feel silly asking the doctor about it though

Yes, but it often comes with the beginnings of a panic attack.

MarmiteCoriander · 24/11/2022 20:59

No I don't get this nor have I heard of it and I work in healthcare.

FrightfullyFreezy · 24/11/2022 21:15

No. My eyes make a noise though.

Nothingbuttheglory · 24/11/2022 21:20

It's a slight hyperventilation symptom. Try a breathing exercise to make it go away.

Ethelfromnumber73 · 24/11/2022 21:28

I get it before I'm about to vomit

cookiecreammmpie · 24/11/2022 21:37

Bodies do weird things. The side of my index finger aches when I feel sorry for myself and my nose twitches when I'm looking at someone I fancy.
