What's wrong with Florence? (not the name)

I've followed up lots of those James Edition adverts from MN & found some villas which I'm definitely viewing to buy, as soon as I win the EuroMillions. But I'm wondering why there are so many villas for sale overlooking Florence.

Is it Brits selling up post-Brexit? How have the rules changed, regarding living there permanently or temporarily? And what about pets now? I want to get my ducks in a row, cos it's about £60million this week & DH & I have selected a villa each. Not sure who gets custody of the cat.

If you could fling some of your winnings my way, that would be appreciated! Or maybe buy me a neighbouring property in Florence…

Florence is ugly, there's zero culture and the food is terrible.

I could spend the rest of my life in the Uffizi, so that's all I need. With £60 million I'll import chefs.
