I've RM Parcel Collect a parcel addressed to me

Anyone know what's likely to happen?

I had 2 parcels in hallway. One which was a return from shop X for an item to go back and one for a brand new not tried on item.

I've RM parcel collected and left parcels on porch for collection while I walked dog.

Yep - I've gone and given the postie the new item I haven't tried on yet and not the return.

I guess it comes back to me in a few days? I already had the preprinted return label (except I didn't it was the label to me!)

Tried calling RM but queue was an hour! Thanks muchly

They are on strike I think so I'd not ring them until that's over

You might find you get surcharged for the item being sent or it might have been noticed and will be brought back on sat. If it gets surcharged then it might take a week or so to come back around./

Although the postie should have scanned the item and the codes should have matched so it's a bit strange they didn't notice

I put the original sender code in the parcel collect form so maybe codes did match. Or maybe he just thought silly bint

He was prob just glad there was something actually there, out of 5 parcels last week only 1 person actually had something for me to collect 🤦‍♀️
