Shitty day today. Anything you can say to cheer me up would be appreciated. Stories, jokes, etc. Anyone else who has had a shitty day is welcome to join!

So I noticed some damp on the spare room ceiling, went into the attic to find the cause, it was a leaky tank and I cant find the leak - going to have to call someone out.

Turned around and noticed a small puddle on the floor, looked up and found a sodden rotten joist. Outside investigations found a broken roof tile - going to have to call someone out.

Emptying the dish washer a cup jumped out of the cupboard and smashed itself on another cup in the dishwasher. Bits of broken cups when everywhere all in the food I was getting ready for dinner. Food ruined. Very expensive takeaway had to be ordered.

Putting the kids to bed notice its a bit chilly. Radiators aren't hot. Check boiler, boiler is dead. Going to have to call someone out.

That was my day!

I’m shite at jokes, but my heating has died since last night, so I empathise! Even my normally ‘can fix anything’ DH is stumped.

Cat fell in the bath - which was full of warm water.
You can imagine the rest.

That truly is an awful day. Hope the issues are easy and cheap to fix.

All of those things that happened you today are just an inconvenience and all of those things are fixable which is great even if it costs a good bit of money, you can get them fixed over time
