I would go to the pharmacy if I were you. They will be able to advise you.

Can you pop into a community pharmacy and ask, they'd be better placed to judge and may be able to give you cream or help.

If you really can’t get a GP appt till tomorrow, go to a pharmacy as they can often advise
does baby seem welll? They can get sore skin behind ears if they dribble milk when feeding / get hot etc
no one can really diagnose over the internet so I would deffo get to a pharmacy as soon as you can

yes pharmacy is a good shout. though they might send you on to the gp as they can't dispense even otc medication to under 2 yo.

behind the ear is a great spot for infection. keeping it clean and dry should be the aim.

DS1’s ear went through a phase like that. Looks really sore. I just whack some germoline on. Not a GP issue IMO, see what a pharmacist says?

PiggyInTheLidl · 23/11/2022 10:49

Looks sore!

Maybe got chapped or scratched, but could be infected.

The spots may or may not be connected.

Have you done the glass test on the spots?

As a precaution I would do that in case they are the result of infection behind the ear.

Monitor the redness for signed off getting bigger or hot.

Take your child to a pharmacy and show them
