Postnatal tummy tuck

I have a c-section ‘pooch’ and diastasis recti which means I still look pregnant months after having my gorgeous baby boy. I had a flat stomach before I got pregnant and can’t fit into any of my normal clothes, so this is making me feel very down. I’m seeing a physio and am doing daily exercises to help, but they aren’t working and I’m seriously considering a tummy tuck.

Did anyone else do this, and if so are you pleased with the results? Surgeon recommendations would be also be appreciated, either in London or around Cambridge.

@Minta85 just wondering what you decided to do? I'm 9 months post partum and also seriously considering surgery.

Hi @Katie567 I’m still considering having a tummy tuck / muscle repair, I’m in a great Facebook group which has lots of ladies sharing tips and their experiences. I’m back in my pre-pregnancy clothes and my weight is probably as low as it’s going to get, so I think the time will be right to book surgeon consultations quite soon. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Thank you, I'm still a little bigger than normal so going to get to my goal weight and then look into it. Good luck!
