Where to sell second hand stuff?

Somehow I've got to the age I am without ever selling anything online. I've got some as new walking boots (good make) to sell and have no idea where would be best to sell them. Vinted, or is that more fashion stuff? Local FB groups? Or eBay? Any advice grateful received.

Also some clothes - am guessing Vinted for them? Thanks!

Vinted do all sorts. Have a look and see what is on them.

I prefer local sites myself - less faff with P&P. Someone turns up with cash and if they don't, you haven't lost anything or gone to any trouble. I would have thought particularly with something like boots - they need to fit, so someone would want to try them.

I always sell stuff on eBay

I use eBay. Make sure you wait for the 80% fee reduction weekends though, otherwise they take a huge chunk of your sale price.

Vinted

I have been selling a lot on eBay.

Thanks everyone. Looks like eBay is currently just favourite - but on a reduced commission day Smile

Vinted, way easier than eBay. I decluttered a couple of weeks ago and made £250

Would highly recommend Vinted - with Depop and eBay you have to pay a percentage on what you sell and you don’t with Vinted.

For furniture (basically anything that’s not easy to post) then Facebook - but sadly you do get a lot of time wasters that just don’t bother showing up.

I got scammed on eBay earlier this year so I am trying out Vinted.

Vinted is much easier!
