Please help me lovely mumsnetters!
I have an interview at a catholic school on Friday and as part of it I have to deliver a 15 minute assembly for collective worship. The value I have chosen is kindness and compassion. It will be presented to yr 9.
I have a bible story and a few bible quotes, and I have a fun video clip showing the science of kindness (eg boosts seratonin etc), and I wanted to also give some real life examples of kindness in action. I have some examples from local news but a lot of them are charity fundraising, rather than just acts of kindness for the sake of kindness. I have considered using celebrity examples (eg Kate winslet paying that lady’s energy bill) but I think I’d prefer to use ‘real life’ people
I’d be so very, very grateful if you could share a link to any heartwarming lovely stories you have heard recently please.
