Anyone else participated in this today?

It was only for 1 hour and we had to reduce our electricity usage by 40%. If we’ve been successful we should earn back £1.17.

We did - between 5.30 and 6.30 pm. I read my Kindle by candlelight. DH went to the pub!

Also participated last Tuesday and reduced electricity usage by 51%. No children at home to moan about lack of TV, Playstations etc so fairly easy.

I did weds nights and got £1.53 for it and did last night's as well. I read my book by phone torch for an hour (damn not having a kindle book on the go) x

Last week we managed to cut consumption by 70%!

Did it again Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Tuesday will be successful but my adult son forgot and put a wash on! GRRR!

I did it last week and got £4.67, then I did both this week - £2.62 for the first and haven't got the results for the second yet.

I turned mine off at the fuse box so had 100% reduction for the first and 91% reduction for the second (DW didnt notice she turned it back on two mins early to boil the kettle)

Is this only available if you have a smart meter? Been nagging them for one for over a year!

Yes, you need a Smart Meter to take part.

I did last Wednesday and reduced by 60% and got £1. Thursday I reduced by 81% and got £1.57. Both nights just had phantom stuff running. Might have to do same as BeyondTheLetterOfTheLawTheLetter and turn it off at the mains 😉

100% reduction for my third session again, which was £3.39 🥳

I’ve only been invited to one session so far. I wonder why?
