2 player board games

Looking for some cheap and cheerful board games for 2 adults. We have dobble, uno, monopoly deal, one of those 20 games in one, playing cards, P for Pizza, bananagrams...

Most games I see online are around £30 and seem quite in depth or for those who are really into board games... I'm looking for those around £10-20 (cheaper the better) that are easy to pick up to kill an hour or so on an evening!

Thanks in advance!

Forbidden island is really fun, co-op game, easy to play.

Patchwork is essentially real life Tetris, really enjoy that one.

Hive sounds similar to what you’ve played so far, good fun.

Have you tried monopoly deal?? It’s - card game version of monopoly and is good fun (quicker than actual monopoly) husband and I often play together in the evening after baby is in bed

we like pandemic too - it’s better with more people but can be done with 2 of us

we've also played ticket 2 ride

if you are into video games we recently played a game called it takes 2 on PlayStation and it was brilliant - you have to work together as a team to complete it

I agree with the above poster who said Patchwork. It’s very easy to learn too.

We love Jaipur

You can also play citadels with two people. I like it but husband doesn't.

Jaipur is great. Love that game.

I also really enjoy ‘nice buns’! It’s on offer on Amazon at the moment for about £17.

Also Blockus. You can get a two or four player version.
