I really didn’t want to have to up the dose this much but it’s what was suggested by a man on a phone (not my doctor, some kind of pharmacist who was doing my medication review? 🤔)

I feel sick. I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now (upped from 150mg). I actually feel horrendous and it’s not helping my symptoms. I am very close to calling in sick because I just can’t cope with work!

help me please. Anyone else on this massive dose? Pros and cons? I just want the ground to swallow me whole.

Contact your gp and discuss it. I’d also drop back to your lower dose!

I was on 200mg for a couple of years. Went up to 250mg for a while as well. I was fine on 200mg but side effects definitely kicked in at the higher dose and I went back down the 200mg pretty quickly as that was the best balance. I found it was more effective to add in a different type of AD but I think you need a psychiatrist to do that (that may be wrong though).

Thank you for the replies!

i think I will go back down to 150mg tonight.

also, I was aiming for a different medication as I felt that this had stopped working but it’s all just quick fixes these days, isn’t it? 😢

thanks again

Hey OP, if 150-200mg isn't working for you then you need help to find something else. Try and see if you GP can see you urgently and refer you to a psychiatrist.
Hang in there, one foot in front of the other.
