Meanwhile folk on here have been discussing how not to have health damaging mould in their unheated homes 😒

Utterly inappropriate use of public funds, especially while we’re being told there’s no money for essential services. Urgh.

As a teacher I even have to buy my own tea & coffee at work - rightly so because school budgets are better spent on other things. And yet MPs have subsidised meals, alcohol and now they’re going to claim for Christmas parties and Christmas decorations on expenses? All on the back of the 28% pay rises they’ve received since 2010 while the rest of the public sector have had pay freezes or tiny 1-2% rises. Aargh!

I took early retirement from the NHS in 2014 due to Tory cuts making it impossible to provide a good service to mine and my staff’s patients. In the 4-years preceding that (since the b*stards came to power), staff in our NHS Trust were not even provided with tap water during training events, because apparently, even domestic staff bringing jugs of water into the room would have counted as a ‘misuse of public funds’. You can imagine how I feel about our taxes funding their Christmas decorations and parties can’t you? 🤬

Meanwhile some of us public sector workers that they’re responsible for are being forced to WFH in freezing cold houses wearing blankets and dressing gowns because they’ve closed our offices and we can’t afford to heat our homes.

Tories. If they don't have their jollies they stop functioning and turn back into goblins.

I wish these morally bankrupt and disgusting people would go.

Amazing. I’ve worked in the public sector, government-adjacent, for the last 25 years, and we don’t even get free tea bags.
