What type of dance school are they?

Are they a member of ITDA or a simular association?

This is what the ITDA say:

Safeguarding

If you have any concerns about the safety of a child, young person or adult you should report your concerns to your local authority safeguarding team /
Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) or to the police.

If you report a concern to the IDTA we will record the report and notify our Safeguarding Consultant, who will inform the appropriate safeguarding team / LADO for review and investigation.

The IDTA does not have the authority to investigate allegations of abuse. Investigations are carried out by the LADO and / or police.

For additional advise or information, or to report a concern you can also contact:
NSPCC 0808 800 5000
Crime Stoppers on
0800 555 111
Silverline on
0800 4 70 80 90

The content of this material is not suitable for children. These resources are intended for adults / teacher and the content IS NOT SUITABLE for children and should not be viewed by them.

All concerns about safeguarding are taken very seriously by the IDTA and concerns we receive will be shared with the appropriate authorities. If a concern is raised anonymously and we do not have a complainant we can contact or the details of the individual who has experienced harm it can be hard for the IDTA or even the Local Authority / Police to take action. We would urge therefore that if you contact us with a safeguarding/ child protection concern where possible you share your details with us so we are able to address the issues you raise. This can be done confidentially and further information about this can be found within the IDTA’s guidance in relation to the public Interest Disclosure Act (whistleblowing).

Are the dance teachers part of an association? Such as the IDTA? RAD? Etc
I know a lot of teachers aren't and it worries me that people send their children to these people
