Anyone watched My Policeman and or Mammals on Prime and want to chat about them?

Watched and enjoyed both recently. Do we think Mammals will be back for another series? If it were I think I would watch, even though I found parts of it a bit 'artfully self conscious IYSWIM. Would you recommend reading the book?

My Policeman was so sad, and made me think about the impact on the wives in those marriages, does anyone have any links to any books/ other films on the subject.

I liked the story of My Policeman but it was very slow to get going I think and too jumpy from past to present day.

@actualnamechange I know what you mean. I also couldn't understand why they did not change things sooner, after 1967, why wait so long?
