Best ways to dispose of old beauty products and suncreams?

I've found some very old shampoos, conditioners and suncreams. I'm not sure how to dispose of them in the right way... the bottles are recyclable, but what about the contents? Feels wrong/bad to poor in the sync, but given it's all liquids, the bin also doesn't seem the right location... Any advice?

Either pour the contents down the sink, rinse the bottles and put them in the recycling bin. Or put them (full) in the main waste bin. Ours is incinerated, it doesn't go to landfill. Depends where you live though.

My local tesco has a stand to deposit old make up to be recycled. I have no idea is other stores have anything similar.

Anyone else got any ideas for this? Got a few old suncreams to dispose of

Boots do a recycle scheme and you get points for it!
