Has anyone else had this too?

I've just begun to realise a pattern when I drink alcohol. I mostly drink beer. Not often once every month or so.

However I get maybe a small hangover but my chest is tight, I get a cough, phlegm, and sinus pain. I also have asthma and it gets worse. Is it possible I'm allergic to beer? Has anyone else had anything similar?

Beer has gluten in it and GF DP can’t have it for that reason. Whilst that’s unlikely to account for your symptoms there’s likely stuff in there you could be allergic too.

Thanks. I have IBS and was tested for gluten intolerance and it came back clear. Allergies run in my family so could be likely I'm allergic to something perhaps
