Calling roses' experts - forgot the playful sounding name

I saw a rose at one of NT places, possibly Chartwell or somewhere in the Chilterns.

It was a shrub no more than 1m high, semi-double, possibly floribunda. The guide at the time described it that the petals start as v pale pink, then they turn stronger pink and eventually deeper red.

It had a playful sounding name, possibly beginning with 'ch' or with 'ch' in the name. At the time I though that name would be so easy to remember but now I can't :(

I have looked online but nothing springs to mind, I keep thinking maybe it was a 'Scarborough fair' or 'Carousel' but it's not that.

Anyone knows what rose it could be?

Happy Chappy?

Sorry that's not semi-double!

Looks a bit like ‘complicata’, but I don’t think the leaves are that glossy.

Thank you @heldinadream
It's not that one BUT I like it! I love those multi-colour petals so it could be plan B.

Have a look here OP:- www.classicroses.co.uk/roses/bi_colour.html

@Stickytreacle, thank you for inspiration!
Some stunning roses there, so much choice and some lovely names too, never knew there were bi-colour roses.
More than happy to pick a couple from there, maybe Masquerade and HankyPanky.
Much appreciated x

I don't know the name of your rose, but just wanted to recommend 'Sheila's Perfume'.

It's a rose that's a different colour every day and has a really scent.

Silve · 21/11/2022 15:47

A really nice scent.

YogaLite · 21/11/2022 18:40

That's the idea, thank you @Silve , it did come up in the earlier link so it's one of those bi-colour ones and scent is a bonus! Added to the shortlist :)

I am planning to get some for me and some as presents.
