Tipping removal men/women?

We are moving for the first time in 18 years, and I've forgotten what the etiquette is re tipping removal men.

We have booked a company to do a full pack for us on day one, and move us on day two. It's costing over £3k. DH is of the view that the movers will be paid at least minimum wage, probably higher (another local removal firm is currently recruiting packers for £11ph) and giving them tea and biscuits is enough. I'm not so sure.

Any thoughts or advice?

We moved a few years ago and although a tip didn’t seem to be expected, the men really appreciated it. They took great care of fragile goods and carried boxes up to the attic. We gave 10 each and ordered pizzas for them.

We gave our guys £20, possibly a bit more, to "buy themselves a round in the pub". It was a very easy job though with my DH helping.

Thanks. I'm not sure how many of them there will be, but maybe £10 each? Or is that mean?

We gave both removal men £30 on a £2k two-day move.

I think there might be 3 or 4. If there's only 2 then I'll give them £25 each.
