just an out of interest question really because I’ve never been in this situation, but you see articles in the legal press all the time about partners jumping ship and taking various people with them. How do those conversations even come about? Partners must have clauses in their contracts about poaching employees (as well as clients), so presumably they can’t just sound out team members they particularly like to see if they are interested in moving with them. Has anyone been in this situation? It’s always intrigued me.
