Thanksgiving dinner gift ideas ...

Hello!
DP and I have been invited to a thanksgiving dinner with our American friends
We have no idea what to take as a thank you gift. They've said not to bring anything with us.
They're making us a lovely meal and we really want to thank them but no idea what to get. Is there anything traditional you'd give for thanksgiving? I know it isn't about gifts but we really want to take something. Thank you.

I think they will have all the thanksgiving stuff covered to be honest. I'd take a bottle of wine or some chocolates

I'd just go for nice flowers and a bottle of wine.

It’s not really a gift giving holiday. Maybe a houseplant and nice wine and chocolates. Whatever your usually bring for a meal at friends

If you’re English and going to America then some classic English stuff

if you’re English going to an American’s house in England then get them some American classic stuff

Do you have one of those extortionate American shops near you?

Thank you for your replies. I wasn't sure if there was something traditional for the occasion I could take.
I'm not sure if there is an American shop near me actually. I could have a look. If not I will look at the other suggested options.
Thanks
