I find the videos of peoples black heads popping out strangely mesmerising and I want to know how genuine they are.

I’ve seen that advert, I agree it is mesmerising but I can’t believe that product actually works.

Neither can, or at least not like that. The adverts are hypnotic though. I often find I have got my credit card out, and I don't even have black heads. 🤷‍♀️

It’s a con. I saw a video where they show you adding poppy seeds to the mask so that when the mask is removed the poppy seeds look like blackheads pulled from the skin.

Thank you bobbybobbybobby I thought it was too good to be true.

The only mask I’ve bought that is strong enough to pull out anything from blocked pores is the black charcoal one.

Unfortunately, after the initial delight in pulling it back slowly and seeing it draw out stuff, you realise that it’s also pulled out sebaceous filaments, and you now have open pores which will now collect make up in if you wear it and are now open to collect dirt and are more likely go turn into another blackhead or pimple.

If left on too long they can also rip out the tiny hair son your face which may lead to a rash or pimples.

Elmers glue is very similar!

Do you mean this one? I bought it from Amazon after seeing it on Instagram. Total con. No different to any other face mask. But I will buy it again!! I love that it's in a stick and I can put it on without getting it under my finger nails.
