Could you maybe hold a steam iron inside and give it a bit of a blast from there, dont think i would put the actual iron on it. Maybe a fine spray of water and hang outside to dry?

Spoodee · 20/11/2022 15:54

Do you think I could use a Teflon sheet over it?

Ooh not sure to be honest, hang in the bathroom when you are in the shower?

You should be okay with an iron on a VERY low heat with something suitable over it and do iron-stop-iron-stop.

Be careful with steam from the iron or steamer near it, I wouldn't.

I concur it would be better to pop it into the bathroom for a week to see if they fall out first but if they don't you may need to iron it.

Or, get it specialist dry cleaned and talk to them first about getting the creases out.

Why is it so creased?

No. You would get arrested.

Hang it up in a steamy bathroom after a hot shower or bath.

I don't know. I'm looking to buy it for my son.

I can't hang it up as he will see it.

I read this thread title underneath the one about cooking swede and thought well that’s novel!

You can steam it from about 6 inches away, just don't let the iron come into contact with it. Then leave it to hang for a while and once dry you can go over it with a soft brush.

Put a tea towel over it and iron. It'll be fine.
