Does a quiet Xbox controller exist?

My DH is addicted to gaming on his Xbox. Plays it constantly when at home, even though we have young DC, which is an issue in itself.

However, aside from that, the constant ‘click click click click click’ that his controller makes drives me mad.

I can even hear it when I’m upstairs in the evening trying to relax or go to sleep. He always has headphones on, so I don’t think he hears it himself.

Is there such thing as a silent/ quiet xbox controller?

You can get ones advertised as quiet, but I know from experience they are not.

Thank you. Thought I might have sorted out a Christmas present (for me!).

There are 'quieter' controllers - but in our house we have a rule that when me and DP are in bed, DSS can't be on his game (not because of the controller but because he cannot stop himself shouting and screaming at his games) - so maybe that's a rule you should implement? He can surely do something quieter later at night?

Sorry I assumed you meant your son - it's your husband?! Tell him to stop being so bloody selfish and shut the hell up!

I need a controller to quieten DP. He also wears headphones but doesn't mute his voice......

Yes, my husband - so I can’t really stop him!

And yes it is selfish, in so many ways.

We can’t even talk to him during the day as his headphones block us out.
